Welcome to the Airdrie Lightning Female U13AA Program!

Empowerment meets excellence in the AA Female Program of the Airdrie Elite Hockey Committee, a trailblazing initiative dedicated to girls aged 12 and 13 who dream big on the ice. Our program competes fiercely in the Alberta Female Hockey League (AFHL) at the AA level, providing a platform where female athletes can unleash their skills, build unbreakable bonds, and shatter barriers. Here, every girl isn’t just a player—she’s a pioneer, a leader, and a force of nature.

Established to address the growing demand for elite female hockey opportunities, the AA Female Program thrives on a philosophy of growth through challenge. Our passionate coaching staff delivers tailored training that hones everything from explosive skating and precise shooting to strategic playmaking and goalie prowess. Practice sessions blend high-energy drills with fun, inclusive games, plus special clinics featuring female role models.

Beyond the rink, we champion the whole athlete. Our holistic approach balances school and sport, confidence-building workshops on leadership and body positivity, and community outreach. Safety and respect are non-negotiable, with trained staff ensuring a supportive, zero-tolerance environment for harassment or inequity.
